Photo Diary: Destination Photography in Amsterdam
Mike and I moved to Amsterdam one and a half years ago and immediately fell in love. Coming from New York City, Amsterdam feels like a village. It’s sleepy on Sundays, vibrant on Fridays, and anytime in between, it’s a chill and happy place to be. There’s plenty to do but also ndo need to do anything at all. You can truly live here at your own place and be yourself.
We were very lucky to hear that destination and wedding photographer, Jennie of Green Blossom Photography, was going to be in Amsterdam and asked her to capture our love for each other and our new city. Check out our photos below, and make sure to reach out to Jennie on Facebook or Instagram if you also want to get the essence of your lifestyle on camera!
You know me, I’m Sarah, and this is my husband, Mike. We like to dance.
We met in 2005 and got married in 2015. By now, we’ve known each other for 40% of our lives. CRAZY!
I have fibromyalgia making it difficult to bike around in this city of bikes. So we share a bike often.
All our money goes to travel, food and music. Hence, the shabby shoes and clothes.
We moved to Amsterdam shortly after we got married, and it’s been an absolute dream.
Despite my health, we’re so happy with all the opportunities we’ve been presented with and created in life.
If there’s anything to learn after being together for 12 years and moving to a new country, it’s the art of not smiling in photos.
Thank you Jennie for such wonderful photos!
Did you love Jennie’s photos too? Then ask her to fly out to wherever you are ’cause she’s a boss and will go wherever you want her to!
