Honeymooning in the South of Spain
For our honeymoon, Mike and I went to the south of Spain. Specifically, we went to Malaga, Seville, and Gaucin.
We ate lots of cured meats and cheese and drank wine ’till our content. I might’ve gained six pounds in 10 days, but who’s counting?
And don’t judge me. This was my honeymoon! Being gluttonous in food was 100% in order.
I think it started getting to Mike at the end of the trip though. At one dinner, he started “fighting” with me because I wanted to order all three desserts on the menu plus go to a bar near our place to have their tiramisu one last time before we left.
HELLO MIKE! We only have ONE honeymoon in our whole lives.
I must order all the desserts and food I want, or I’ll never have this chance again.
I guess I can use that argument on any vacation– “We’re never going to be back in this country anytime soon so I NEED to eat as much of the local food as I can ASAP!”
As always, gluttony wins. What can I say? I like to eat a lot.
I sometimes joke that I’m making up for the first half of my life after my mom died when there wasn’t much food at home and some days I couldn’t afford lunch at school. I’m balancing out my life by eating more than I should now. I think I have at least five more years to go before it really balances it out– the excuses just keep on flowing lol!
Anyways, enough about my gluttonous food habits, here are some photos from our honeymoon in Spain. Mike took about 70% of these photos, but they’re too good not to share as on my blog!
